  1. These sound very tempting BUT – 21 years ago I made the move to Hungary. Turns out today it is the safest most beautiful and least expensive place to live. It is in the heart of Europe if you want to get in your car and travel – go to the countryside to buy from farmers – fruits, vegetables, raw milk and milk products and even meat. I had no choice – when I figured my style of living on my $1000 retirement budget – it would have been a sad fact anywhere. Cashed in my 401K and even with the penalty for early withdrawal – it bought me a 1000 sq ft downtown apartment with high ceilings and lots of windows. By now, I've become a dual citizen which means free domestic travel and medical insurance for under $40/month ALL INCLUSIVE. Can't tell you how relieved I am not having to worry about ending up on the streets for my old age. Now there is also a country house and a vineyard. Was a realtor in NC so if you have questions – please feel free to ask. I'm retired and would love to help anyone else who wants to enjoy their golden years.

  2. You forgot Philippines!!! Everything's cheap, cheaper than Malaysia or Thailand and the most people there are Christians and speak very well English.

  3. Didn't see any of the poverty stricken slums There are plenty.especially in Latin America Where the crime rate is some of the highest in the world Like Columbia, tagged "the most dangerous place on Earth in 2016"!

  4. Hehe!!! Try the Philippines!!! So nice, so friendly and well educated people! Living for Europeans is so so cheap you wont believe it!

  5. its still hard to decide where to go to with my husband, retirement came early for me when i got into stocks trading, i made my first million dollars trading stocks with professional help from Mrs Nancy Berman Epstein, she handles my investment portfolio and she is popular in the States

  6. Philippine,Thailand,Malaysia,Vietnam,Indonesia, other ASEAN countries best Place to live and retire if you do not speak the language and still able to communicate in English, then I would consider Philippines.(expense, food,Medicare, safety,Cleanliness all are about the same depends on how the individual prefers it to be.)

  7. Best place to retire will always depend on the person if He or she loves the country and feels Safe ,then that would be the country.

  8. This information is a shambles. No direct correlation on prices between different countries, and without any direct information. It's rubbish. Sounds like a tourist commercial.

  9. you never include the philippines..why?.maybe you didn't visit this place'..it's the chrapest and bueatiful country in the world,,,,

  10. All the options mentioned are affordable only to baby boomers and successful criminals. The average person will never be able to afford any of these places. As an average person the most I can look forward to is sailing a pocket cruiser and living like a robinson crusoe on a remote pacific island with a local girl.

  11. What are you talking about????.These countries are not the cheapest to live at all!!!!.You are very wrong.Philippines, cambodia, thailand is more cheapest country…Learn better and not LIE to people!!!!

  12. The one thing that I don’t understand is they always say xxxx rent per month. If I was retired why would I want to move every x months when a lease expired? Isn’t part of retirement moving somewhere and planting roots and enjoying retirement?

  13. Best place to spend your entire life is in Bali….
You can enjoy nasi campur (mixed rice with vegetables and meat) only 1 $…..the Suckling pig only 2 $…and many others cheap local food,…

  14. I retired in the Philippines in 1997, but after having my apartment broken into numerous times, police pulling me over looking for bribes, jealous girl friend's family members hitting me up for "loans" knowing they never had any intent to paying it back, food poisoning four times, noise, air, and water pollution, scams, extreme weather, malaria, and dirty hospitals I finally moved to Vietnam in 2006 where I surf daily, eat great food, and have a very sweet and sincere wife. Good Luck to all-stay out of the Philippines!

  15. Most of the countries in this video are cheap. Yeah right, if you're a millionaire. Try the philippines, safe, cheap, and very beautiful.
