  1. I'm going to make a little statement here on this video as I've been getting a lot of questions about a particular question lately

    Will this work on Windows?:

Maybe, idk. I've not tested it. Most of the videos I've seen also using this method are all on Macs, so maybe this is macOS only. You can try to do this on Windows, but I don't garantee any success. The steps in this video aren't exactly the same for Windows (because of how the way macOS terminal and Windows CMD Prompt handle things).

If you do try this on Windows and get it working please let me know in the comments!

    Thanks for understanding.

  2. once a put on the command ./restore4.sh it stops saying "ERROR: could not retrieve device serial number. Can't continue." And the says "Done!", the iPhones displays turns on but nothing shows up. HELP! it's an iPhone 3,1 and im running OS X 10.14.6. HELP!!!!!!

  3. I think I have a basic understanding how this tool works:
It takes all the signed stuff from the 7.1.2 IPSW and moves it over to the unsigned IPSW, making iTunes think that the IPSW is signed.

  4. VietNam 28/9/2019 – Verify the tool is no longer active because the path no longer exists.

  5. Hey, please help. I'm able to downgrade to 4.3.5, and 6.1.3 but not 5.1.1. It will just go to recovery mode and never exit no matter what I do. I did exactly what you did and my 4 is an iPhone3,1.
